The Cottages at Fish Island are adjacent to Lake Barkley State Resort Park near Cadiz, Kentucky. The cottages all have two bedrooms and will sleep up to 6. All are housekeeping accommodations and have fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning and cable television, we also provide limited internet access via Wi-Fi. The Cabins rent from $90.00 (plus tax) per night for four people. A fee of $5.00 (plus tax) per person per night charge is additional up to a maximum of 6 occupants. With a pet fee, pets are allowed in all accommodations. |
The efficiency apartments above The Store have a double and twin bed, and will accommodate up to three people. These aparments have small but complete kitchens and full baths. Wi-fi is available for all efficiencies, in addition to air conditioning and cable television. The Efficiencies rent from $60.00 (plus tax) per night for two people. A fee of $5.00 (plus tax) per person per night charge is additional up to a maximum of 3 occupants. With a pet fee, pets are allowed in all accommodations. |
Holiday weekends - 2 night minimum stay. Guests of guests need to leave by midnight, otherwise they will be charged to the cabin. Cars not registered with the office will be towed by midnight.

Fish Island is located in the middle of many activities in the area. From the property you may walk to the lily pond to admire the beaver lodge, birds and other wildlife, or even take your pole and go fishing from the bank. A short walk or drive away you will find Lake Barkley State Resort Park with its abundance of entertainment, which includes swimming at the beach or pool, arcade games, golf course and trap shooting range. Downtown Cadiz offers many antique stores and the Janice Mason Art Museum. Be sure to visit in October when Cadiz has its annual Ham Festival. Trigg County has long been noted for its delicacy - the country ham. Every June Cadiz participates in the 400 mile yard sale across Kentucky, stores open earlier and additional vendors will be present, who knows what treasures you will find. Just a 15 minute drive will bring you to the Land Between the Lakes, where they offer 4-wheeling, the Elk and Bison Prairie, horseback riding, nature trails and the Homeplace a 19th century working farm.

The Store at Fish Island is here for your convenience.
We offer a deli which serves breakfast, lunch and pizza along with various daily specials. You may also purchase meat and cheese by the pound or even order a steak or pork chops (it is recommended to reserve meat orders on Mondays or Wednesdays before noon). Our snack foods range from candy bars to chips and muffins. On our grocery side, we try to stock a little bit of everything including canned goods, sauces and condiments, breakfast foods, baking goods, soups and stews, crackers, toiletries, cleaning supplies and health products, not to mention automotive, boating and camping supplies.
Catch
Fish Island is an approved vendor for Kentucky (KDSS) hunting and fishing licenses. We also sell live bait and tackle. Whether you are a local, staying at Fish Island, or just visiting the area, stop by with your trophies and we will take your picture to put on our wall of fame!
